hyaluronic filler

Hyaluronic acid is a substance produced naturally in the body. Chemically, hyaluronic acid consists of sugar molecules that have the ability to bind water. Since hyaluronic acid can bind much more water than its own weight, it is used in anti-aging to combat wrinkles. In the human body, most of the hyaluronic acid is found in the skin, where it holds the cells together. It is also found in joints and eyes. From the age of 30, hyaluronic acid production in the body decreases. At the age of 65, only about 10% of the original hyaluronic acid content is still present in the body.

Botox®

In the human body, the neurotoxin botulinum toxin, also known as "Botox®", inhibits the transmission of electrical potentials from the nerve cells to the muscle. This causes a reduction or paralysis of muscle activity and thus a smoothing of the surface of the skin. In the upper facial area, which often causes many unwanted wrinkles over the course of a lifetime due to lively facial expressions, reducing facial expressions through Botox® injections is a successful treatment concept. The effect occurs approximately 4 days after the treatment. The drug is completely broken down by the body approximately six months after ingestion.

Sequence

During the initial consultation, we determine the desired result together with our patients and relate it to what is medically possible. It is very important that realistic expectations are developed based on the individual physical conditions. We work out a treatment plan for our patients that sometimes combines the techniques of hyaluronic filler and botulinum toxin.

We only use products of the highest quality and with a strong scientific basis, some of which we also helped to develop.

We perform all of our hyaluronic filler and Botox® injections under ultrasound control. This allows us to image the nerves and blood vessels in the face. This enables us to achieve the best possible aesthetic result with the greatest possible reduction in complications. The use of ultrasound for hyaluronic filler and Botox® injections sets us apart from most other aesthetic practices.
